Mercedes-Benz is known for its three-pointed star, luxury driving, and performance. It is also known for its many firsts: the first petrol powered car (1886), the first hybrid car (1906), the first use of four-wheel brakes (1924), and much more including top-rate service packages that are programmed into many models. These service packages are known as Service A and Service B. Keep reading to discover the differences between them.
Service A
Your vehicle will need Service A after 10,000 miles (16,000 km) on the road and every 20,000 miles (32,000 km) thereafter.
In between each Service A, a Service B is recommended. This service is more extensive than Service A, which is more of an All-Around service.
Service B
Your first Service B should occur close to 10,000 miles (16,000 km) after your first Service A. Service B includes more extensive checks, changes, and inspections. As with Service A, Service B should be repeated every 20,000 miles (32,000 km). It is also best done at your Mercedes-Benz dealership or trusted European car repair centre.
